Question: How much do I compress Panel Buddies?

Answer: 50-65% depending on local surrounding humidity. If your concern is the panel swelling more than contracting then use the 50%. If you are in a very dry area and ship to more humid locations then the 65% may prove to be better.

Question: I use to use hard rubber balls and noticed on a light stain job that spots appeared where the balls where. Will your inserts cause finish problems?

Answer: No. The product you refer to is a injection molded part and they spray a release agent on the mold to allow the parts to come out after the mold process. Our parts have no oil or silicone to cause finish problems.

Question: Your spacers seem too soft to center the panel.

Answer: The beauty of Panel Buddies is the panel is supported over a wider range than Space Balls TM. This offers the widest possible range of movement and still center the panel with out putting pressure on the glue joint.
